The President of the Republic, H.E. Taur Matan Ruak, inaugurated the Swearing In Ceremony of the Fifth Constitutional Government of the Republic of Timor-Leste on August 8, 2012 at Palacio Nobre in Lahane, Dili.

"Chefiado por Xanana Gusmão, o novo executivo tem 55 membros, 11 dos quais mulheres, e inclui um primeiro-ministro, um vice-primeiro-ministro, 15 ministros, 12 vice-ministros e 26 secretários de Estado.


O novo governo foi constituído na sequência de uma coligação governamental entre o Conselho Nacional da Reconstrução de Timor-Leste (CNRT), do primeiro-ministro Xanana Gusmão, vencedor sem maioria absoluta das legislativas de 07 de Julho, e o Partido Democrático (PD) e a Frente Mudança.


Fernando "Lasama" de Araújo, presidente do PD, será vice-primeiro-ministro e José Luís Guterres, da Frente Mudança, será ministro dos Negócios Estrangeiros."
